Hello everyone,

I am trying to make a rush list with a few AV12 model (maulerfiend), rhino and lord on Juggernaut. Everything is fast in the army and I was asking myself if the Sorcerer could be worth it. I play Crimson Slaughter but I don't see the use of Divination in a Rush list (I might be wrong, I am a new player). I was thinking of a sorcerer with Jump Pack in raptors with 2 melta taking Telepathy but I am not sure.

Thats why, I ask more experience player if they take Sorcerer une Rush list and if yes, what discipline? How to play it?

mmh, actually divination on a melee list is not that worthy.
but a telepath could be fun. How many points do you have for the guy and his retinue?
I once played a ML2 telepath on bike, with no retinue, zooming on the board cover to cover and psy screming things to death. It was fun and it was an unexpected way to deliver a cheap Instant death weapon into a stalemate melee...for 130 pts its a steal.
Jump pack i'd rather not, the extra Toughness is pure gold. If you want to give him a retinue, get some nurgle bikers with 2 meltaguns and combimelta and have fun. Otherwise nurgle spawns for the win!

I'd go with Malefic Daemonology (maybe with Prophet of the Voices, which would stop you going into a unit most of the time but it would remove some of the risk). Additional melee units dropping down into the opponent is a good thing for a rush list to have. Level 2 with Summoning and Psychic Shriek can be quite useful too, I've seen that done with Farseers (take the Malefic primaris then take the other rolls on Fate/Divination/Telepathy) to great effect.

Ahem. Sorry, had to get that out of my system. Biomancy or Telepathy might do you well, I think--for the chance at Iron Arm, Endurance or Enfeeble on the one, and Invisiblity and Psychic Shriek (and Shrouding, if on a Bike so you can Jink for a 2+ cover save!).
