The DP is a strong choice but he eats a lot points and will be targeted massively early on!
Had a little think, thought about combining elements of both lists toan extent!
Chaos lord, combi melta, PF
5 Marines, Melta, rhino
5 Marines Plasma gun

You loose the 4 ML's but you gain the versatility of the oblits! You have mobility with the rhino, The Marines armed with Plasma gun can sit on an objective and rapid fire plasma! The Lord although no where near a spowerfulas the DP has his uses as a kinda of PF champ!
