Hi all just about to build my secpnd Carnifex for my Tyranid Army and not sure what weapons to use, my first has Stranglethorn cannon and Scything talons any advice would be great.

Double devourers is always good for just insane ammount of shots for anti infantry work, if you need that. Apart from that almost running them as combat with the old sything talons for bonus talons. Don't really know apart from that often other units fulfill the role of anti tank better.

Carnifexes are Monstrous Creatures, they're AP2 anyway.
Double Devourer is absolutely the way to go if you're concerned about the gaming side; if not, then whatever you think looks cool.

I don't think anyone would mind you throwing in some shiny claws as long as you're honest about it's equipment. Though in ridiculously big games WYSIWYG makes life a whole bunch easier.
On another note: CLAAAAWWWS
I've ended up with the same first carnifex as yourself, and I built my second with stalons / crushing claws A: because it looks awesome, and B: worlds best can opener provided it can catch the can.

These fine gentleman are correct though, the twin - twin linked devourer with brain leech worm carnifex or "dakkafex" is absolutely wonderful, and easily more competetive than my builds.
