After about 2 weeks of on-and off painting, I finished the Carnifex, the first monstrous creature of my Army! It was a bit of a learning experience, as I found painting a large model a lot harder than painting tons of Gaunts.

Comments and Criticism needed!
Thanks,

A very nice model. Larger areas do tend to be more difficult but you seem to have carried it off very well. The thing that lets it down for me is the base, its a bit dull :(

Some bits of rock or shrubbery would do wonders for it.

I agree for a first big model this is pretty good. Probably a lot better than my first big model. The base could use some work to make it stand out.

A dull base is a tad pedantic Humakt, although I tend to agree. I really like the paintjob on your 'fex for which I just rep'ed you. No more 69 I'm afraid. I hate to do it but it has to be done some times.

The blue tongue is really good. How did you go about it. A nice organic feel dude. Well done.
