What do people prefer campaign play or tournament play?

For me it has to be campaign play, I really enjoy the challenges of different scenarios and seeing as the campaign story builds and evolves.

I have never got into the tournament scene; I have always gamed for fun and it is always the background story that gets me involved with a new army which probably explains why.

iv never played in a proper tournament, so i spose GW summer campaigns wins it for me.

I enjoy both.

Competition play is often challenging & will test your skills.
Campaign games allow for different army selection & a more laid back style of play.

Both ftw!! Dakari sums it up perfectly. Only addition I would make is that campaigns tend to work better for friendly games.
