I'm not dead... Jut broke my arm in the elbow - so had to take a break - it's not easy to paint with a broken arm - believe me - painting eyes takes ages....

Ok - this isnt quite an easy mini to paint ... The wings are large and I mean large - was repainting them like 4 times - kinda happy with this result ;)

Very nice painting, not only are the wings excellent as already pointed out, but I really like the way you've painted the skeletons on his base. How did you do them?

Skeletons are washed sveral times with VGC Scruffy Green , and then again with VGC Fluo Yellow.
As for the sword - the base is VMC Dark sea blue , highlighted with GW Hawk Turqoise, and then with white :)
Thanks, it's a very effective technique :).

I've already sent some rep your way.

Utterly brilliant! The glowing skeletons on the base look nice and the swords look great as well. +reputation and 9 on CMON

EDIT: Sorry, apparently I have given you reputation recently so I can't give it to you again.

Really nice, very nice painting and composition. I think my only little nitpick on the mini is that some of the features could be defined a little better for my tastes, for example on the armour, i would have taken the shades to black on some points, like you've done on the sword. It could just be the photo but still great to see such lovely painting.
