Dusting my templars off ready for some rightious vengence but I though i'd have a little play with the codex and see what I could put together. Its only for fun but here goes...

HQ

Emps champ - AAC - 140 pts

Elite

Techmarine - Teleport homer, terminator honours, 2x Lightning claws
4 x Combat Servitors
Rhino - smoke

Like I say this is only for fun. 4 las cannon shots a turn (2 twinned) to burst open vehicles. Tech rhinos push forward asap with smoke+cover ramming the teleport for the termies down the throat. Each Tech squad is doing 5 powerfist attacks and 4 lightning claw attacks

Indeed we can, minimum squad size of 5 man including 1 heavy and 1 special weapon. Pefrect for Razorback squads.

and LD9 not that it matters for him....

Like the list it looks like a blast to play!
might take a couple of hammers just in case though. AAC might force the charge into something that will not be so fortunate.

Even with a forced charge I really cant see much that 40 I5 rerolling hits are going to struggle with. I currently run a 4 LC 1 TH/SS squad and more often than not theres nothing of worth to hit with the TH, plus the lackluster SS that comes with templars is really uninspiring.

Can't argue with that too much. Only two things 1)no re roles vs tanks, if it moved 12 u might not kill a rhino, and 2) u cant touch the heavy av 14 stuff, and that could be the death of them. It does truly suck that the SS of the templar is pure crap. With that many rolls & re rolls any MC would be foolish to come within 18' and that is fun all by itself.

Had to do a lot of reworking to give me something i'm really happy with.

Dropped from 10 termies to 6. In place i've Changed to two techies as follows

Techmarine 1 - Teleport homer, terminator honours, Servo-Harness, Iron Halo, 2x Thunder Hammers
4 x Combat Servitors
Rhino - smoke
- 363 pts

Techmarine 2 - Teleport homer, terminator honours, Servo-Harness, 2x Thunder Hammers
4 x Combat Servitors
Rhino - smoke
- 363 pts

Thunder hammer (4 each!) good ness for bigger vehicles (what self respecting Techmarine cant tear open anything mechanical) Also servos giving more precombat softening weapons and another pwr fist attack.

this is actually pretty nasty. just be careful with your Techmarines, they are not as resilient as other CC specialists for the BT.
