Bloodthirsters and their " size "

There doesn't seem to be an official statement anywhere in a codex or any other official source as to how big these guys can get, and from what i've seen their size ranges mostly from 10-15 metres in books and so, so I wonder if there are any examples of Bloodthirsters exceeding those numbers?

Don't look for consistency in chaos mate.

But a fair thought is that daemons require living energy to support their presence in the realspace, and that energy seems to be provided by psykers, rituals or warp storms. Conceivably, there could be a planet sized blood thirster if there was enough energy to sustain it, or if it was in the Eye of Terror.

Even in official art from rulebooks there is a considerble range of size between Bloodthirsters. In old 2ed rulebook there was picture of a Bloodthirster where CSM around him looked almost like ants. Atleast that bloodthirster must have measured around 25 meters if you put the CSM at 2 meter. Other pictures show thirsters in the size range of carnifexes. As Iraqiel said, the more energy and feelings of hate and carnage it can draw from, the larger it may become.
