Another test of my Angels list against Justicar Alaric. I've done a few tweaks this time:

Deployment
I won the roll off and went first. I deployed my triple Predators between two ruins on my left flank, the ruin on the trio Preds left I put both Land Speeders. In the centre I clustered the Razorbacks together to make sure in FnP & shield range.
Kris deployed his Angels, on my right flank he put the flamer A.S with Librarian attached, melta A.S unit and a unit of Devs in a ruin. On my left flank he put all remaining melta A.S's together and then in a large centre ruin the other two Dev units, a Priest and the 5 man Assault Squad - the other Priest joined a melta unit on the left flank.
Btw - I'm running loads of proxies, all Rhinos are Razorbacks and guys with bolters are Assault Marines
*Tactical Notes
My first turn I'll hold position with pretty much everything and blast away and hopefully kill off a unit. I'll target the meltas and Dev units first, go for the Honour Guard as mass melta.
Turn 1
I move out the Predators to get good LOS on the Honour Guard and a melta A.S next to them. Everything else holds position.
Shooting I blast the Honour Guard but only kill two. I blast the melta A.S due to angles of the Preds and kill one if I remember right. I blast a Dev squad killing 25%, they fail morale and fall back.
In Kris' turn his falling Dev squad auto regroups and moves back up to the ruin they originally were positioned in, at least not firing with those heavy weapons. Right flank two squads roll out using terrain for cover. Left flank units roll out with one melta unit coming right down the edge of the board using terrain for cover while the Honour Guard and supporting other melta unit come straight to my Predators.
Shooting I cast my shield power for cover saves, one Predator is crew stunned thanks to botched melta shots. One Razorback is weapon destroyed, I think that's about it.
* Tactical Notes
Ok not a huge amount of damage I've taken but nor have I dished some out. I've took a a double weapon destroyed result on that Razorback so the plasmagun and lascannon are toast so it's nothing but a hatchless Rhino.
I'll pull back the Predators this turn and probably still hold position and blast away melta units and Devs.
Turn 2
I draw my movable Predators back and push both Speeders into terrain passing terrain tests ok. I start to move out some Razorbacks to blast a oncoming Assault Squad which has moved from the right flank towards the centre.
Shooting I wipe out the Honour Guard except the Priest who passes morale. I wipe out another melta Assault Squad on the left flank to a man, which leaves just a melta A.S and the Priest from the H.G in my face on the left flank.
Kris' movement turn sees the full man melta A.S on the left flank move down ready to pop a Speeder, the Priest follows them. The single melta Assault Marine moves up to the shaken Predator. On the left flank the melta unit moves up just outside of terrain but using the terrain as cover while the flamer Assault Squad uses terrain and starts to come around in a wide arc.
Shooting the full melta A.S on the left flank fires at the Land Speeder and does nothing, the single melta Marines blasts the shaken Predator but just shakes it again. Krak rockets blast out at the stunned Predator and stuns it again I'm right, one Razorbacks on the hill is immobilised.
Kris assaults my Speeder but fails to do anything

Firstly I've changed the picture angle so can see the entire battle field, but damn Kris get your hamster going as it's dark as a night! lol.
Ok a Pred is stunned again but doesn't matter as a Assault Squad is close, they can bail out and dice up that single Marine. I'll move the other Predators to blast those meltas on my left flank and target that single Priest. I'll continue to blast at the Devs and oncoming melta over on the right flank.
Turn 3
I move a Razorback carrying a Librairan and flamer unit forward to get LOS on the melta unit which attempted to kill my Speeder. A melta A.S bails out a Razorback ready to kill that surviving melta Assault Marine by my shaken Predator. I move both Speeders and remaining Predators, I move out with the Honour Guard Razorback and a supporting one - I think the Razorback with no weapons might be shaken as I popped smoke and it didn't move.
I blast the melta Assault Squad on the left flank but I don't kill enough. My Assault Squad on foot cannot see the single Assault Marine hiding behind the shaken Predator. I blast more Devs but thanks to cover saves only kill one from the unit in the large ruin.
In assault I'm half inch short of my Assault Squad charging that single melta Assault Marine, doh!
Kris' turn see his move both Assault Squads on the right flank closer towards me. His melta unit on the left flank eyes up a Predator this time while the single Assault Marine holds position.
Shooting the shaken Predator is popped the other Predator is popped by the other melta unit and the Honour Guard Razorback and the supporting one are both immobilised, another Razorback is popped.
Kris is winning with 2 kill points I have 0 kill points.
* Tactical Notes
Ok Kris has got some serious kill points this turn throw in I didn't remember his lone Priest from the Honour Guard, though I couldn't see that model anyway - doh!
This turn I'm going for that single Priest, blast that melta Assault Squad on the left flank and multi charge those meltas which immobilised the Honour Guard Razorback.
Turn 4
I move my squad on foot towards the single Assault Marine. I move the last Predator towards the melta unit and move my Speeders about. Squad which got popped out their Razorback head towards the melta A.S of Kris' which immobilised the H.G Razorback, my Honour Guard and another unit bail out ready to mass assault.
Shooting I kill the lone Priest, blast the melta unit and force morale but they pass. I blast more Devs and I think I kill another. I shoot the lone melta Assault Marine up wrecked my tank and kill him with melta.
In assault I multi charge Kris' melta unit and kill them all without taking a wound, squads consolidate into terrain.
In Kris' turn he gets those flamer Assault Marines closer to me using the terrain. The battered melta Assault Squad eyes up a vulnerable Land Speeder.
Shooting Kris' Devs pop my last Predator. A Land Speeder is taken out my melta shots I think that might be it.
Kill points are Kris 4 me 3.

Ok Kris is still winning but I've finally got some points but taken me turn 5 to do it! I perhaps should have focused fire more the first turn on a single Dev unit and then gone for meltas as they wasn't in melta range anyway.
Next turn I'm going to run all Assault Squads aviailable towards Kris' Devs, then if there's a next turn I'll assault them and hopefully rack up some points.

Every unit inside a transport I bail out, all ones towards Kris' table edge I run over towards him while a flamer unit which is in a immobilised Razorback bails out ready to blast and charge into Kris' Assault Marines with Librarian.
I blast some more Devs but Kris does well on cover saves and I don't think I kill anything. I fire that Assault Squad at Kris' oncoming flamer A.S but do nothing.
In assault I find my 5 man Assault Squad out of range of Kris' - gulp!
Kris' turn he moves his battered melta A.S to my last Speeder. His flamer A.S on my right flank moves in for the kill. The 5 man Assault Squad moves out of terrain ready to assault, better to assault than be assaulted, right? Kris also splits his Librarian from the flamer Assault Squad.
Shooting my last Land Speeder is taken out. Honour Guard and my flamer Marines get shot at, but nothing. A Dev squad pops another Razorback as another Dev squad pops another.
In assault the Librarian whips out his melta bomb and makes the immobilised Razorback a wreck. Kris' 10 man flamer Assault Marines charge mine, but combat rages on. Honour Guard and 5 man plasma stay locked in combat after no wounds either side.
Kill points are Kris 8 me 3.

Ok this is going badly. Kris has got a massive kill point lead over me. I just hope the game goes on so I can start getting some points back here.
Plan is to assault his Devastators and that 5 man plasma and his melta Assault Squad. His Librarian I cannot target due to LOS which is a bummer.
Turn 6
We roll for turn 6 and a 6 appears, so game on.
Movement I send one Assault Squad through terrain towards from Devs, I move two other Assault Squads towards the Honour Guard fight as a Librarian with a flamer unit and a supporting squad move towards the large building with the other Devastators. The melta Assault Squad which killed that single melta Marine of Kris' move towards the exposed Librarian and battered melta unit.
Shooting I blast Kris' Dev squads with flamer and bolt pistol while I blast his melta squad.
In assault I charge two Dev units and kill them both giving me two kill points. I charge his melta unit and kill them and I.D the Librarian with a power fist. My Honour Guard and the two backup squads wipe out his 5 man plasma unit - that's 5 kill points racked up there.
Kris hasn't got a lot of choice this turn, he moves his Librarian to the next immobilised Razorback while his Devs stay put.
SHooting his Devs fire at something, probably a tank. In assault his Librarian stuns a Razorback.
Kill points are Kris 8 me 8

Ok it's a draw now. If it ends next turn it's better than a loss right?
If it doesn't end I'm going to go for that last Devastator unit that's probably about all I can do.
Turn 7
We roll for turn 7 and the game rages on!
In my movement I get all available units into the ruin where the last Dev unit is. That's it.
Shooting I blast the Devs leaving 2 or 3 left. In assault I charge the Devs and kill them giving me a total of 9 kill points. The fight between my 5 man flamer unit and Kris' 10 man one still rages on, hang on boys!
Kris' last turn he gets his Librarian ready to pop another tank, which in assault fails to do so. My flamer Marines hold out and the right rages on.
My Blood Angels win by a single kill point!!
Summary
Woah that was a close one! If it would have ended any earlier I would have lost or got a draw.
The game went well, first turn I should have left the meltas and blasted the Devs taking out long range fire power and then later turns doing multi assaults with units on Kris' Blood Angels. I know the kill points are right, but Kris' Librarian took out 2 tanks with melta bombs, so I've got something wrong some where.
Kris would have been better deploying the units on my right flank in the centre behind a ruin his Devs were in, then come bounding forward and use the small terrain piece in front for cover. All the melta units he should have pulled back and hid in terrain too. However, it's catch 22 with Kris' army because of his short range weapons - hide and survive or come forward and do damage quicker but take the pain. I guess either way he has to come out sooner or later.
