Hey all. I saw this list on another site, and I thought it looked very good. I was wondering how it would fair against armys, considering there aren't very many models on the field for the amount of points.

TOTAL: 2500 Points.

So what do you all think? I'd Really like to use this list, it sounds like alot of fun. I'm just wondering, for the amount of points, will there be too many anti-tank weaponary for this list to do well? I know at 2500 points, I certainly have alot of anit-tank weaponary. The reason the last assault squad has a drop pod is so that I can drop down 5 pods on the first turn, to suppress the enemy, and the other 3 + assault marines will come in to support.

Please leave some feedback :)

Cheers :victory:

Wow, wasn't expecting so many replies so quickly! I usually so far face: Orks, Imperial Guard and Space Marines. But that may change.. I will be able to see where Threats are in my opponents army, so I can drop the pods with each dreadnought where it is most needed. If there are alot of powerfist models/terminators etc. I can drop a dreadnought with blood talons down. No armous saves, and the power fists will strike last. The redeemer is to get the death company into company as quick as possible, and then provide support. Any idea's what else to do with it? Or should I drop it from the list and Hace a drop pod instead??

Cheers :victory:
@ Chumbalaya: I doubt it will explode. 14 AV on all sides is rather strong. It wil also stop the DC from their rage. And I could afire it, but no elite slots for the SP and the librarian with honour guard would have to footslog. In the first turn they would get anniahlated.

@ jaws900: I do not have any more troops slots to take anymore death company dreads, and if I had 15 DC they couldn't all got into one drop pod. I won't neccisarily make the land raider deepstrike. It can be used to draw fire from my dreadnoughts. There are 2 drop pods with locator beacons, just incase. The small assault marine squad was so I ad more scoring units. The DC and DC Dreads don't count as scoring units.

@ Lopspoon: the librarian has a force weapon, which is used as a power weapon. Unleash rage gives tr Librarian and his unite I.e the death company, prefered enemy untill the end of the turn. If they are going up againt terminators etc with hugh armour saves, smite will reduce the squad to almost 0.

@ SPEEDY: the idea is to be up close and in assaults. The bloom talons will rip through squads, and te redeemer is there to support.

Note to all: I should have explained this, but the librarian is going in the land raider redeemer with the death company.

Thank you all for the feedback. More is always welcome, so keep it coming!

Cheers
