Hi,

I am interested in finding out what is the best cc hammer unit for BA. I want a squad led by a character (and maybe other models included) that will dive into the enemy and beat face. I have been running Mephiston and TH/SS termies and have also tried DC and a librarian. I was really disappointed with Mephiston but really excitedabout the DC. What do you guys think?

Sang guard are pretty amazing with a Priest, WS5 2+ with a 5++. I always bring them and they do well.

I don't play TH/SS termies in my BA because they can't sweeping advance and I also have Deathwing and Grey Knight allies. I've also been musing with the idea of 8 Sternguard in a Pod with a Libby and a Priest. Sternguard and DC are the same on the charge with Unleash Rage from the Libby and FnP from the Priest (1 attack less per model without UR), and when they don't charge they're still Sternguard shooting. Plus there's opportunity to get Wings which is very cool for Sternguard. Expensive, but I'm going to check it out one day.
