So i was browsing some trader pages and i stumbled onto this. It took me a couple of moments to recognise what i was looking at but once i did i snapped it straight up.

Now for those of you who are new to the hobby, and by new to the hobby i mean haven't been playing for more than 15 years it won't mean anything. For those of you that are hoary old veterans you might recognise it.

What you are looking at are all of the components needed to build an Adrian Wood dreadnought.

For all you yoofs, Adrian "grand warlord" Wood was a member of the white dwarf team, he's still a studio member, who was famous for playing orks for 2 decades and only winning a single battle report. His only win was a 3 way battle involving only ork players. Anyway i digress, once upon a time he showed his new army of orks, i think he's had 4 through the years, off in white dwarf. Complete with 2 converted ork dredds. Three months later, thanks to requests from readers, he published a tutorial on how to build the dredds and what components he used. Mail order even had a bundle you could buy with all the random parts in.

Well as it arrived today and i didn't have much to do i decided to have a crack at building it, i took pictures for a tutorial later on so that others can build one without having to hunt down white dwarf 225 September 1997.

But for now just a couple of shots with it finished.

I've magnetised the guns as i would like to actually have rockets on this thing but don't have any around at the moment, but how do you think i did.

Certaintly something different there, believe being on of the young ones (a measly 6 years) but i do remember seeing that white dwarf but never realised that they were converted. Will wait to see that tutorial you mentioned, hope you took a shot of all the ingredients. Maybe will be a project to track them down to and build one some day.... but that is certainly i believe a difficult if not impossible unless you find a pack as you did.
