Hi there!

Here's my list for a friendly game, with perspectives of becoming a competitive list:

HQ
Abaddon the Despoiler 265pts

10 CSM, 2 plasma, AC with bolt pistol and power weapon + melta bombs; all with CCW; rhino w/dirge caster, combi bolter and havoc launcher 275pts

The CSM squads look a bit pricey to me, but they certainly are very versatile. Good melee, good shooting... just a high price tag.

I'd probably drop the IoV from the heavy bolter Havocs to give the lascannon Havocs another ablative wound and 4 LCs (rather than 3 and the 1 AC).

Probably also drop the heavy flamer from the Termis for another combi-melta and -plasma, just to get a weight of fire there. Should I assume most of those power weapons are axes? Because that's what I'd probably be going with. I might try to squeeze a LCs into there (single or double, your choice) too, if you could find a few handfuls of points.

If you want good Anti-Air for your meta, I'd consider either getting Prescience somehow, to throw onto that Forgefiend, or swapping it for a HAC Heldrake...

Still, looks like a pretty fun, pretty solid list. Decently flexible, can meet a lot of threats. Not quite as much melta as I might prefer, but...
Yeah, the weapons are axes!
There isn't a 4LC because I only have 3 of them.
As for the flamer - melta swap that's a good idea.

Another idea is to swap Abaddon for a Lord with psy powers and a sorcerer. That will give me access to prescience and cast it on the heavy support, and also give me dice for denying enemy powers. after all 7th is all about psy powers...
