5 bikes are very squishy, I would be tempted to bump up their numbers to at least 6+attack bike. Also, I'm not a huge fan of plasma but whatever floats your boat :)

Your problem, among many with bike lists, is the lack of long range AT. Bikes are very poor in assault, and in the current climate of assault troops in transports you are going to want to take out those transports as soon as possible. Unfortunatley melta doesn't have the range or the number of shots to do this effectively.

Another point of note, bikes should never be given plasma. The risk of losing the model is too great considering the cost of the model.

Calamari is also spot on in that 5 man bike squads are not really enough, as the "back bone" of your army.

The common problem of dealing with hordes has been reasonably well covered with the speeders.
