I'm trying to make an entirely kit-bashed dark eldar fleet for BFG and I'm not sure on the dimensions for escorts, if someone could tell me that would be much appreciated.

It all depends on the type of escort really. I'm not too sure on this, so dont take my word for it, but I'm pretty sure that escorts (Imperial ones anyway) are around 1 to 1.5 kilometres long.

Edit: Hang on, you mean model size dont you!

OK. I'm not too sure on Escort sizes, but I've got a Chaos Cruiser (that I need to paint) and it is 9cm tip to tail. I'm assuming that escorts should be around 4-5cm long, but if they are all in a consistant scale (eg Battleships 13cm, Cruisers 9cm escorts 5cm), then you should be fine.

I hope this helps with you fleet fishywinkles!

you don't have to be precise though, as ship size in BFG means absolutely nothing, as all measurements are made from the centre of the flight stem, so you don't have to worry about being right or wrong scale wise too much.

This at least makes my job a little easier, but it is always nice to try and get the sizes correct.

for imperials i'd say: go for 4.5cm for frigates and 3.5 to 4cm for destroyers. fits nicely forthe battleship size then. as with dark eldar escorts. design them a bit longer but much more slender. 5cm would be a good length in my opinion.
