Hey guys/gals, I'm finishing up my Flesh Tearers Space Marines and would like to put some "flat work" battle damage on them. They're painted a deep red almost a burgandy or maroon if this helps any. I don't really want to do the black and silver thing, so if you have any ideas, tech, pictures, or articles please help out. Thanks for your time, Brian :so_happy::victory:

Thanks for the article, it was a good read. However I was looking more to paint the damage on the models which are built and 90% finished. I just wanted that extra touch of some beat up armor.

Since you are going with red, I would paint small spots of orange to show the paint being thinned from the damage and then paint in some boltgun to show the bare metal itself.
