I got a couple quick questions about base sizes

I generally convert and bits-buy most of my stuff, and as such I generally have no idea what size or shape base most stuff comes on.

do here goes.

Daemon Prince
Attack Bike
New Terminators (all my old ones came on 25s)

And while we;re at it, what size bases do people prefer for ICs and the like?

Daemon Prince- comes on a 40mm, really made for a 60mm
Attack Bike- you can fit them on a 40mm barely. You can leave them unbased, buy my favorite bases for any bikes is the Gale Force 9 oval bases for bikes.
New Terminators- are made for 40mm, and nearly everyone has now based them that way that i've seen.

IC's just depends on the size of the model. Power armor or less IC, 25mm. Terminator armor or equal or greater size IC, 40mm.

Golden rule... square bases look silly in 40k, fear the square base :) *unless you're playing fantasy, then reverse it*

Not sure as I've never bought one, but all the people i've ever played have left them unbased like a vehicle, though since they are a character profile they should technically be based.

These are the ovals I was talking about:

Attack bikes do not come with bases, so up to you really.

Blkdymnd has the sizes right, I would definatly put all Montserous Creatures on a 60mm though.

ICs always the smallest that fits the model so normally 25mm

Heh, I had to use a screw to fasten my Bloodthirster to his base so he is stuck on the square base for now. Not sure what to do to get a round one on him as a flat one will not work.

I know a lot of people who like putting their ICs on oversized bases, both for modeling and for the ability to B2B more models for extended pwnage.

I just don;t like giving up the mobility of being able to squeeze in.

Black Gobbo this month has an interesting tutorial on bike bases where you use a 40mm square base with half a 40mm round base stuck to either end to make an oval.

I'm not sure if it'd be big enough to mount an attack bike on though. I've never owned one, but I'm thinking of picking up some attack bike bits to upgrade the ravenwing bikes I've preordered (mostly for the RW bits sprue).
