Hey guys,

Looking for some help really!

A couple of my vehicles have 'extra armour' on as an option and I'd like to model it to the vehicle to represent that.

The way I'd like to do it is it add some 'bar armour' as below

Anyone have any ideas on the best way to model something like that?

Regards,

Bayonet

Hmmm... You could use toothpicks or thin pieces of sprue for the uprights, then use string/dental floss/fire wire for the horizontal bars?

Stella's idea is the best or you could try Tamiya they do some 1:35 etched brass mesh armour kits for things like the cromwell, or you could try and fashion your own from plasticard and plastruct rods. If you want to know more about the plastruct range PM me as i sell it. But it will take some level of skill to pull off.
