With unbound armies in I wanted to try a list that I always wish I could but couldn't because of the force org. But now with unbound here it is.

HQ
Jain Zar
Spirit seer

Elites
10x banshees
-exarch
-executioner
-fear
-Dark Eldar Raider
-dark lance
( 6 squads of these)

Idea is just rush the enemy turn one with these by turbo boosting. Then second turn jump out and assault with the flyers and raider taking care ofi armour. I was thinking of throwing in an autarch istead of a spirit seer. This list is meant to be fun yet semi competitive. I believe banshees to be the worst unit in the game at the moment but I believe this list make them a little bit better what do you guys think.

Even in an "unbound" army I don't think you can take Dedicated Transports (with no accompanying squad) from another codex.
I thought with an unbound army its basically take what ever you want. If it isn't ill change the list around.

Unbound just means you don't need to stick to the standard FoC. You still need to buy the units and stuff as normal. Just no min/max requirements for troops and stuff. But the standard squad sizes and limitations on gear still apply.

Well it all still 2000 points and they're all the right unit sizes but I can't get the raiders until I buy some dark eldar?. Right what's the cheapest dark eldar you can get that can buy the dedicated transport.

The Unbound method is the easiest way to organise an army: simply use whichever units from your collection you want. Besides being a quick way to get your models on the tabletop, the Unbound method also allows you to try out exciting combinations in your army, such as fielding a whole force of Tanks or Flyers, or even of special characters.

I think his list is legal. That is the unbound entry in the book.

Edit: Started a thread in General 40k to discuss this further, http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/showthread.php?t=154930
