I love the darker look of your blood angels as it gives them a more menacing aproach. Is the strorm bolter space marines face painted as he kinda looks like a vampire.

sorry for being short in my previous post(was on my way out the dooe for a early dinner), while it may not be a baal predator the paint job is great and you should be proud of it, i would be if it were mine.

Answers:

Head - not painted just the metal base - may replace if for a std sm head not sure yet.

As you say I prefer the darker red as apposed to the blood red, if I do highlight anything I use Red Gore, But I really like mechrite red as you can see you get great results from just one coat

mate, you need to paint it with more colours than blck and mecharite red. give it at least a coat of scab red or red gore, and an ink wash.

ive tried ink washes i cont think they bold well for me i think i put to much on them last time .. it was years ago .. any tips..

use a brush into the crevaces ?

maybe if you say so, the thing is the tank technically would of been mass washed with one colour, it doesnt have camo so technically it should be one colour just weathered

thats what i thought i didnt want the red to be to happy looking.

the commanders head is not yet painted but a great approach

scab red is darker than mecharite red. ie. not as happy looking.

I have to agree with cccp on this one. What you have so far looks fine but to really look finished it needs highlights at the least and beyond that some weathering. The flat overall paint job makes it look drab and just highlighting the edges will go a LONG way to making the model top notch.
