Hello there!

We recently had an opportunity to paint a rather big, full of vehicles and battlesuits Tau army.

We’ve enjoyed painting it in the high-tech, chrome-like scheme complimented by hexagonal patterns that nicely highlight the difference of technological approach when compared to the human technology in Warhammer 4000 – we find these patterns really fitting the technologically advanced, alien race.
Anyway, you can see the models on the pictures:

What do you think of the hexagon patterns? What other textures on what models would you like to see?

wow great stuff and I don't even like Tau but those are nicely painted.

Amazing stuff here!!! I really need to learn how to use my airbrush properly... other than using it for priming and very general two-toning sprays (poorly done, I might add!).

After the vehicles, the Tau infantry appeared to spread the Greater Good, followed by the team of Crisis battlesuits:

Stirling painting as always, I would however have liked to see more of the hexagonal pattern, it is such a lovely detail, also you never seem to have unit/faction iconography on your models, which I think takes away from the models as it makes them kind of bland in my opinion, is that a personal style or is it client request?

It depends - sometimes the client does not want the iconography or commission the models with such (mostly with Space marines commissions).
