another question (i should just live in this forum)

do you have to follow the army list or is that just a minimum requirement meaning with the ork army list it shows only 2 hq spots does this mean that is all that you can have. (because i wanted to have a warboss, 2 bigmeks and some independant characters)

Yes, the Force organization chart in the book is the limit to what you may have. Playing Apocalypse alleviates the need for the chart, but I don't recommend it until you have more experience with the basic game.

The FoC is compulsory unless your playing Apocalypse. Which i'm guessing your not.

2 HQ
6 Troops
3 Elite
3 Fast Attack
3 Heavy Support

If you have a Codex to hand you will see that 1 HQ and 2 Troops slots are dark: they are the Minimum Requirement.
The other slots should be lighter which means they are optional.
Most if not all players fill all slots anyway.

Boss Snikrot, Baddrukk and Zagstruk are special characters separate from HQ. IDK if that helps you though?

Use Ghazghkull Thraka! Not many people do. In fact i'm the only one i know that does
And then a BigMek with a KFF.

No i'm afraid not. Most people avoid a Shok Attack gun due to its erratic firing and the fact that the KFF is more useful

i'd think that, in the spirit of fun, if you and your buddy ok'd it, then you could possible, maybe run a list build how ever you guys want to.

though i believe the current FoC format is a great template, so don't go to crazy!
