This is how it works pick any hq it can take any upgrades its allowed and then rate it on.

Effectiveness 0/10
points value 0/10
ranged power 0/10
close combat power 0/10
'ardnes 0/10
usefulness 0/10

Then give a breif synopsis of why you have rated it like this.
e.g
ghazghull thraka

Effectiveness 5/10
points value 3/10
ranged power 3/10
close combat power 8/10
'ardnes 8/10
usefulness 7/10

ghazghull is powefull especially getting that 2+ invul on his waagh but unless you buy a trukk he remains pretty useless. he is a warboss allowing us to take are nobz and mega nobz as troops.


you can name any unit more than once and it can be any combination

Technically different.

You can measure how effectivwe something performs the task it is useful for.

Anyway: ZOGWORT:

Effectiveness 7/10
Points value 10/10
ranged power 8/10
close combat power 10/10
'ardnes 1/10
usefulness 10/10

Zogwort is fantastic. End of.

He has a 40% chance of eliminating any enemy IC on 1 roll.

He's a warphead so has more chance of getting a bi zappy spell you want

He has poison(2+) attacks. Gets D6 extra attacks and when he's in combat has a power weapon. Yeah that's right, he has a potential 8 attacks that wound anything on a 2+ with no save. Definitely worth a 10/10 for combat.

Deep Striking 30 Shoota Boyz every turn is made of epic win.

He is however about as resilient as a paraplegic chimpanzee.

This depends entirely on how many points you are playing with.

Anything under 1500 and he is simply too expensive to justify taking, however anything 2000+ and he is worth his weight in gold!

His 2+ inv isnt his main benefit. The 6" Waaagh is a much greater benefit.
Not just for the assault distance, but the fact that you know the exact distance rather than it being random. You dont have to ask yourself "well, if i disembark i will need a 4+ on my fleet to make the distance... do i disembark?", and then regretting it once you roll a 3.

Would also like to point out that running him in a Trukk is a BAD idea.
He really needs the protection of a Battlewagon and a KFF, otherwise he is going to be dragging his slow arse across the board all game.





In general, this thread is kind of pointless because there are so many variables involved.

What type of list are you running?
What is accompanying the unit you are reviewing in the list?
What are you fighting against?
What is the points limit?
What is the objective?

that was just my opinion I play low point games so thats why. also lets say points limit is 1500 the objective can be any as long as you include what it is. no unit my accompany him unless bought as an upgrade e.g.

I don't see why this thread couldn't be very beneficial.

Simply say what type of army they are with, and points. You can expand on it to say what squad they are attached to and objectives, we can make this a very knowledgable tactica, using everyones ideas.

I think Ghazghkull's stats are a little off in the original post. I'd rate his CC power as 10, his point value as 7, and his effectiveness/usefulness as 8.

The KFF ratings are spot on.

Someone gave you negative rep for that comment? how much they minus you? Did it actually say for being mean?

Whoever did that, why? I didn't find it offensive or anything...?

You aren't suppose to publicly bitch about it and say the persons name. Just get over it, shit happens.

Anywho, from what I have seen playing against them, zog is fairly good.

yeah it was funny when i used him against a space wolf player with 4 hqs or should i say 4 squigs.

Wazdakka Gutsmek - rating when used around 1000 - 1500 points, focusing on reaching the target quickly. ( used with other bikers)

I love this guy!
Effectiveness is 7 as he is a very effective HQ when used correctly. If not, he can get pwnd pretty easily.
He is very good for points, as he gets lots of extra goodies, that normally units have to pay for.
His ranged power would be higher than a 7, but is BS lets him down.
Close combat he is very powerful. A high toughness, 4+ save, 5 attacks on the charge, and strength 4. For his points, he is awesome!
Because of his T and Sv, he is pretty damn hard, as well as his speed.
Overall i think he is a very useful unit. Especially if you take warbikers as troops.

hope this is ok. This is based on 3 battles i've run him with.
