If there is, what do you use as your HQ choice.

I usualy go with a Daemon Prince but lately ive been taking my lord and hes been doing ALOT better. Maybe just luck who knows.

And i was wondering if any chaos players take a sorceror as a HQ choice and are they worth it.

I don't have a Death Guard army but mines is pretty much Death Guard. :grin:

I don't prefer Chaos Sorcerers and I don't recommend them unless you want to kill lots of enemies in a single blow. I would go with Typhus.

Besides, you have 2 HQ choices. You can choose 2

I usualy run low on points and sometimes just take one choice, if i ever use two i go lord and DP.
I havent used typhus in the new dex yet, i intend to soon im just testing all possibilities to make my army stronger but still pure death guard.

I play deathguard, take Typhus. The other choices arent as good. If you dont have the points take a regular lord. Concentrate most of you points on troops and armor.

I switch off between Typhus, a lord and a DP depending on the mood I'm in. I have never used a sorcerer but the regular Lord right now is my choice.

I use Death Guard but I preffer a Sorcerer on a Bike T6, a Force Weapon, Familiar, Doombolt/wind Of chaos and Warptime expensive but effective. I find it stupid that a Plague marine can have FNP and a Lord of Nurgle can't anyone think the HQ should benefit more from the Marks of the Gods?

the marks should have different effect on different units imo.

I avoid Sorcerer's unless it's for Tzeentch of Slaanesh. My HQ is a Terminator Lord with a Mo N and Daemon Weapon i ngames of up to 1000 points. In 1500+ I take Typhus instead (using the same model tho), and in games of 2000+ I also take a Daemon Prince with Wings, MoN and Warptime, which is IMO the best possible combination.

And Abbadon can mince the shit out of almost any Independant character including the C'tan.

im going to my local games workshop this weekend so im going to see if i can get a match and try typhus in the new 'dex. He was my best unit in the old days haha.
