Just looking around evryone seems to be posting up their GT final lists so I thought I might as well throw mine Into the mix.
Made a good few changes to my heat list where I came 3rd, despite the result I still think I'd struggle against IW so more LC's and speeders to outmaneuver and hopefully stand a chance In the shooting phase.

Theres no doubting the fact its a powerful list and very similar to what i'd take if i used BA at the gt. One thing i cant see being worth it is Auspex. For you to be able to shoot an enemy u have to be able to see them so, if they deploy as close as possible too the unit with auspex then you need to roll 19 or more on 4 dice. I can't be bothered to work the mathhammer on this but its pretty damn low. I know some think scouts are a beardy way of gettin DC but i think there worth taking just for area denial. When you face an all inf chaos list having one squad that you can place to block there deployment is well worth the points. If you give them a ML you can use them and side-snipers, or if you face a static gunline you can use them in support of the dc/libby. Food for thought anyhow.

he has enough asscannon tbh in the tornados. The preads have HB sponsons for anti troop while the twin las is more reliable than twin asscannon for anti tank (unless i'm rolling that is :wink: ).

BTW you taking farshite again to the finals alex? Or something else?

How do you find the preds work out?

I had a similar DA army a while ago but dropped my pred and other stuff for a terminator squad.

Looks like a good tourney army though.

How would you change it for a campaign weekend?

I probably wouldn't play them! :lol:
I think there probably a tad to powerful for a 'fluffy' campaign as such but with 8 man Las/Plas fist squads and the odd scout squad and furioso they could possibly be balanced out a bit :wink:
As an alternative to the above list I've considered dropping the extra speeder for some scouts who could come In handy against any heavy Infilgay armies while providing the extra DC roll and missile.
I think looking at the two lists now It's probably going to be a choice of the two now determined by comments and playtesting, I was contempating bringing In more combat prowess with the assault marines but with their high price and 'std' 3+ save I think I'm better sticking to my guns as the saying go's.
Any more Ideas?

i think the list with the scouts looks a lot more solid, and the inf will come in handy. Will the scouts do as much as an extra assault Cannon and heavy bolter, its doubtful but it gives the DC a little more reliability a will be handy for infiltrate blocking. Id say its more likely to be handy vs a shooty alpha legion list or similar

I beat a list similar to this two sundays ago with my eldar. the fact u need if for the dc limits your "mechiness" so if the preds get blown your not is a very good position vs eldar cav lists
