Here are my Angels of Redemption.

Primed with Black, green side, layer of DA green, then Snot Green, followed by D.Green wash. White side, Graveyard Earth, Commando Khaki, Bleached Bone, and finally 50/50 mix of Skull white and BlchedBone.

Close up shot, The IMP Eagles on chest, were a simple mithril silver, and yellow ink (to layers). Bolters (need touch ups) LIGHT dry brush of M.Silver, and then a heavier dry brush of Dwarf Bronze. The Lenses are Enchanted Blue, Ice Blue and a dot of skull white, with a drop of 'Ardcoat.

There are plenty of small little touch ups that need to be done, and they all will be addressed. This was my test squad for this color scheme/chapter, and i guess i will continue with it as I am quite happy with the results, what do you think, C+C always welcome as long as you aren't rude lol

Thanks for checking them out!!

I like it. A 50/50 or quartered paint scheme is always harder to get right than a solid color overall. They remind me of the mentors chapter colors.

The green side could use a black wash in the recesses to add more definition to that side of the models. You could also try alternating the shoulder pad rim colors to tie both sides together. What I mean is paint the white side shoulder pad rim green and the green side white. It might make the models pop even more.

If these are just your test models, then your off to a really good start. Hope to see some of the non-test ones soon.

always liked halved/quartered colour schemes on Marines, but always too scared to try them...looking forward to seeing more.

only [minor] criticism is that the paint looks a touch thick in places, but thinner coats should solve that. i really like the blue eye visors, makes them pop from both the green and white.

Thanks guys! Yeah, you don't see the halved or quartered color schemes very often at all, so i wanted to challenge myself on Space Marines, this being my 5th space marine army. Thinning the paints is always an issue for me, i know its a matter of practice, i just can't seem to get it right lol, either its still too thick or its too runny and goes everywhere! I am working on it though I promise!

The black wash, yes, that is something I am currently working on, though I think what i like best is actually a mix of black wash and chaos black, and a thin paint brush with a steady hand. I always think it looks better that way!

As far as the shoulder pads are concerned i will be working on something, but that goes against the fluffy color schemes i have found for the army, maybe an extra high light of snot green, and skull white so the edges pop out more??

once again, thanks for looking!!

Cool sheme, but i suggest they would be cooler when you finish them! Are you going to do blue on the eyes?

And is the name on your chapter from the chapter name generator? Because it seems like it loves using the word "Redemption". Cool word, though.
