This is my new Dark Angels Successor Chapter.

I still havent finished painting any model to show for yet, but this is a pic from the B&C painter.

Unless my eyes are tricking me because of their dislike for telling me what colours are which, DA Green + Liche Purple(or something there about) = good scheme. I'm painting up an Eldar army in that scheme and it's working out beautifully.

i personally dont like it. but if the blue is purple rather than blue it may make a difference

Maybe Shadow Grey? I use it as the base color for the Mountain Angels.

Ignore the sloppy PS. I threw this together for the Medusa V campaign. The Red Skull was the Mountain Angels campaign badge.

I would try Shadow Grey or maybe Grey and Grey, like Fortress Grey for the base, and Codex Grey for the plates you have in Liche.

Okay, I found the cable. This is just a test mini so ignore my bad painting skills.

I know the highlights are very extreme but that's what made the blue and green contrast.
What do you think?

Now that is nice. I wasn't sure from the B&C painter pic wether it would look any good but that is very effective. The extreme highlighting really works imho.

Nice job, any ideas on what color the bolter will be?

Boltgun (Black inked obviously) with an orange cover (Extremely highlighted)

Ok thats not what I was expecting. I would go with the Blue myself as you already have 3 colors on your palate and adding another one might ruin it. But take a look at it and if it looks ok go with it.

I got plenty of spare bolters. If it looks bad, I'll pull out another one. I bought 2 boxes of DA veterans and made them a close combat squad so I have 10 spare bolters.

Like that, the extreme highlighting works well.

I agree with Jacobite that orange bolters may be a bit much. I think I'd go with a dark blue.
