First post so be gentle. I have just started using an airbrush and have bought some Vallejo Mecha Grey primer. I have sprayed a couple of minis and am not sure if I’m doing something wrong. I previously used Halfords Plastic Primer in an aerosol and this gave a nice even Matt coat but the Vallejo stuff seems to be extremely watery and dries to a satin, almost gloss, finish. I have thoroughly shaken the bottle (with mixing balls) but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any ideas? Are there better alternatives out there for airbrush primers?
