I've been using my airbrush for quite a while now and never really paid it much attention, but I figured I should ask anyway in case there was some nugget of information that actually means I get better results. What does changing the pressure on a compressor actually do and what affect does it have on the paint? I do most stuff at around 30-35psi is that normal? Or too high/low?

What pressure do you normally work at?

It's been so long since I painted that I can't remember... I think 30 PSI is detail pressure and then you can go up towards 50 for stuff like basecoating? I'd need to look it up.
