I got into IG because I love the tanks. I'm sort of a treadhead and everyone in my meta here knows that. So I decided for my next tournament I would do something unexpected and pretty much unheard of in my meta. A full infantry list. I was trying to figure out how to use the Militarum Tempestus codex which up until now I've thought of as worthless.

Okay. So I know there are some holes in the list. So lets talk tactics first. The 50 man infantry blob is only there to go to ground behind the ADL for a 2+ cover ensuring that I'm not shot off the board turn one and securing an objective. They will be bubble wrapping the CCS for the "get back in the fight" order. All of the Scions will arrive by Deep Strike. Risky move I know. Since they have move through cover they will automatically pass dangerous terrain tests. Landing on impassible terrain or enemy models will suck. But with 8 units at 1500 points I feel that there will be success in numbers as long as those that survive the deepstrike actually kill something when they land.
I thought about that. I wanted more Vox's because I just know that if I take one he'll inevitably die. A thunderfire cannon can be a nasty thing to this squad. I didn't want a Priest in the guardsman blob because I was going to abuse the ADL's +2 to cover when going to ground behind it and the CCS's "Get Back in the Fight" order. A priest in that squad would ruin that. But since the conscript blob pretty much sucks. I'll run a fearless 40 man objective secured squad up the board to be a bullet magnet any day.
