No, this only comes into play if the model attacked has more then one wound, ie; attack bikes, crisis suits, Indy Characters. So role everything as normal and any wounds you don't save cause two wounds to the individual model. Hope that helps
What he said, otherwise it would be way way too strong an upgrade. If you look carefully you'll note that implant attacks says models that take a wound from it, not units. First you throw a bunch of wounds at the unit, then they get divided amongst models, then any models that took a wound take 2 wounds from implant attacks which effectively do nothing extra if the wounded model only has 1 wound.
