I just bought the new plastic Seekers of Slaanesh models. As I was assembling them, I was thinking I could just leave the Daemonette off the mount, glue it to a 40mm base, and use it as a Fiend. I can get 5 of them for around 25 bucks instead of paying about 20 bucks for 1 metal Fiend model. For those of you who have seen the mounts, would you find these as an acceptable alternative for tournament play?

There is a size issue that some people will call you out on, either put it on some piece of scenery to make it a reasonably height, or model something fast looking under it to achieve the same effect.

one of the staff at my local is doing this. He did say that he will bukl them out about with green stuff, but if it's ok for staff to do that then why wouldn't it be for you?

I don`t see a problem. I`m a fan of plastic converted models myself.

Is there anything else they could be confused with? If not and there is no size issue then do it.
