Hey everybody. I'm going up against Tau soon and I've 3 HQs to use and I don't know which one to use. Though I just LOVE using Abaddon, I don't think he is appropriate at a 1000 pts. Anyway, just tell me which you guys think I should use, and if you don't mind, also try to tell me the wargear and/or phychic powers.

You could always take the Slaanesh Sorc with Lash.....

Personally, I like the Daemon Prince but if you don't have one, go with the Lord.

True, I don't have a Daemon Prince (yet). But the Lash of Submission idea sounds great, but also the lord can beat up everybody, 'cause I usualy give him bloodfeeder, and that could tear Tau apart. Still undecided. But Abaddons out of the question.

I would go Soreceror and base my army around Death Guard and Slannesh as my god. It would make it darn near impossible for the Tau to beat you in HtH once you got there. A single Death Guard marine can tear apart an entire squad of Tau FW in HtH and his T5/FNP will ensure that he gets there through the Tau Str5 weapons. Good luck!

Heh, I lost But I'm getting a re-match with him next week. Though I'm gonna use Necrons against him. ( Never lost with them against him)

I say try again with your Chaos. Its easy to resort to the army you feel is the easiest to win with but it takes a true gamer to come back and win with the army hes already lost with.

Personally I have a really good win to loss ratio with my Grey Knights but I decided to move on to regular Space Marines to try something new. After asking around a bit about which chapter my friends thought I should play I finally decided on Ultramarines as one of my friends said they would be the easiest to beat because they had "no flavor". So far they have found the "flavor" to be very distastefull to them. :grin: Even when I loose with my Ultramarines though I try my best to not resort back to simply beating them with Grey Knights. I just try to figure out where I went wrong and try again. Eventually you will be able to beat anyone with anything in your army (so far is its not completely unbalanaced).
