It can certainly be done, but I'm personally more enamored of bringing 5 Purifiers with 2 Incinerators along instead. A Cleansing Flame delivered to an optimal position where you can clip multiple units is awesome, and 2 Incinerators is often just as good as 4 as you can't kill any enemy that can't be hit by the template (meaning 4 Str6 AP4 templates is basically overkill against anything that isn't a Space Marine or Terminator).
