Hi guys this is my first post on Heresy Online.
This is my 750 space wolves list.


Space wolves 750pt A

HQ (100pt)
Rune Priest 100pt
Powers: living lightning, Jaws of the world wolf

Troops (400pt)
Grey hunter pack (8man) 243pt A
Melta gun
MotW
Wolf standard
Rhino
Wolf Guard Pack leader 43
PF & Combi Melta

Grey hunter pack (8man) 243pt A
Melta gun
MotW
Wolf standard
Rhino
Wolf Guard Pack leader 43
PF & Combi Melta

Grey hunter pack (5man) 75pt C
Flamer

Elites
Wolf scouts pack (5man) 85pt
Melta gun

Total: 746 pt


Plan:
Rune priest joins a grey hunter squad, the same goes for wolf guard.
Pack A goes for centre objective, while Pack B goes for the nastiest thing the opponent has. The wolf scouts will annoy the opponent’s home objective or contest it and Pack C will guard my home objective.
Rhinos will pop smoke turn 2, and in Kill point missions Pack C will stay in reserve and then try to help out Packs or simply try to distract the opponent.

Drop the third squad of gh and the scouts and elites and put in a ml lf unit is a lasplas razor. So 2 10 man gh units with melta and standard one 5 man LF with 4 ml and a lasplas razor.

i might drop the Scouts and the five man Grey hunter pack for longs fangs, but i like the wolf guard pack leaders they help in assault. Also the combi-melta on them replaces the melta gun i would take if the pack was 10man.

Also like using the Scout to harass the enemy objective holders or assault

Plan same as first. Instead the Long Fangs sit on home objective and fire at things. Extra armour will protect the squads more.

Right now you are still illegal. You can't just have a 2 man group so drop them or... Not much of a choice tbh other than getting rid of the upgrades.

Hey there.

I like the list. As it stands, you can't take only 2 wolf guard, you need at least 3. I would suggest dropping extra armour on the rhinos (its pointless anyways). I would also drop the wolf standards but that's just personal preference as mine never seem to do anything.

sorry i ment they are pack leaders in the Grey hunter Packs,
making it more clearer in lists.

On an other not winch list do you Prefer? A or B

Well that’s nice and irrelevant. You have three or more or nothing. The way pack leaders work is that, during the deployment phase, the pack leaders start off as one unit and then they would split and become the leaders of the various packs. IOW there needs to be 3 before they split off into their packs.

BTW don't edit lists. Make new ones or people will get mized up.

oh i think i might have to rework my lists abit
i might stick a cheap Wolf guard in the long fang Squad.

TBH I would drop them all together for that extra punch but this is good.

i am abit tricky if i should give the wolf guard in the long fangs any gear or just leave him as a extra wound.

Also i am worried that with only two AV11 vehicles, the enemys anti tank might kill them fast and leave my 215+wolf guard cost Pack in my starting zone and open to fire.

Id go with something like 2 units of 5 GH in Razorbacks with LC/TLPG turrets, Rune Priest with JotWW/LL, and 2 units of 6 Long Fangs with 5 ML in each.
Not sure on exact points but there might be a couple left over for Meltaguns or whatever you want.

Its a bit less resilience in the troops, but a LOT more dakka.

to be honest at that point level wolf guard are a point sink. thos three cost as much as a dreadnaught (wich is what i would take)
