Hello everyone,
we have already painted 4 different Primarchs and once again we want to ask you which one do you like better. Consider both painting and your personal favourites

Mortarion

Vulkan

Which one I like the best? Modelwise it's Mortarion by far. However, if we are only looking at the painting I would have to say Vulcan. You've hit something spectacular here.

The skin and armour contrast is simply excellent. It's the first example of black skin I have seen work, and it works REALLY well here.

Vulkan. I love that model. The armour on Horus looks awesome too. I just love that damn model... I'll have to break down and buy it soon.

For the quality of models and sculpting I've seen from GW, the Vulkan model is trash. The arm position is really loose. And while it is technically good I'm not a fan of the painting either but that is my personal style - the green is too green and more 40k Salamanders. Sorry. And the skin comes across too light. This not a criticism of your pajnting, more my preferences in colours - I love your style, just prefer slightly different colours.

I much prefer the other three, but Lorgar is outstanding. By far my favourite Primarch model and the way you painted that gold really does it for me.

Paint schemes look good. I particularly liked how you painted Lorgar and Vulkan, they kind of look different from most pictures but they are definitely a different take.

They're all very good sculpt wise and painting wise in my opinion.... but is Vulkans left hand on backwards? Looks like it is. I believe the hand should be facing the other way around. In this case, it looks like he's pulling a spider-man..... just with a wrist mounted flamer rather than web spinners. Or he might just be reaching out for someone before saying "Gotcha" and barbecuing the poor fucker where he's standing, then uppercutting whatever remains there are with his hammer.
