The magic combo's need working on but I don't have the items with me at the moment.
I really like the American tournie list which is why I don't have any greenskins othe than hobgobs in my list at the moment and I still have plenty of CD bits to change up the list if needed.
So any suggestions welcome.

I only have two questions:
- Where can I get my hands on the Codex you use to build a Chaos Dwarf army?
- Would it be okay if I made a Dwarven army that was modelled to look like Chaos Dwarves?

On a more topic-relevant note, if the units in your army do what I think they do, then I'm at a bit of a loss to come up with improvement ideas. Perhaps some more bolt throwers and cannons would be nice, since they're the two most destructive war machines in 8th edition. Just thinking aloud.

The old ravening hordes list and the pdf tourny list are available as downloads on chaos dwarfs online.
I've seen dwarf lists used to represent CD as well and apart from the lack of greenskins to make the army faster and no magic it still works.
With the bolt throwers they're not as effective as they used to be because of the loss of some of the to hit bonusses.
luckily both the earthshaker and deathrocket got better.

I love Hobgoblin Wolf Archers now. They're pretty damn effective, doing a better job than Gyrocopters.

It might be worth looking to the Terror of the East Mercenary Character as well.

He's a monster, so cannot join units - However -

4 WS7 S4 Attacks (with a -3 Save modifier, causing D3 wounds) at initiative 6. he now has a 3+ Armour Save (from the updated Monstrous Mount rules), backed up by MR1 and a 4+ Ward Save should he lose a wound.

But the monstrous reaction chart is what makes Warghan so good. He has 2 Strength 5 Attacks, and it T5, 3 Wounds, and a 4+ Armour Save. Oh, and cause Terror.

He's a beauty, although is 350pts.

I've not heard of this character before vaz where can i get his stats and rules?
The best thing about hobgob wolfriders is that with full armour upgrades they're still lt cav so better than their gobbo counterparts.

Sorry matey, Ghazak Khan. Old Mercenary General. I tried to search for a PDF, but can't find it. Might be worth chatting to Bilbo on Dogs of War Online - he has a huge collection of PDF's, and I think Khan is included in one of the Warhammer Chronicles articles from a White Dwarf. I remember being really really keen to pick up the three Dogs of War WD issues when they were released - had the army list (Ravening Hordes), then the Regiments of Renown part 1 (units) followed by the part 2, being the generals.
