A magic user in a unit only has 160 degrees view doesn't he? If he was alone he would have 360 degrees right?

What would you prefer to do with a goblin shaman unit or alone?

Generally, if the magic user is in the front rank, but not on the corners, he only has a 90degree view. If on the corner, he'll have a 180degree view. That's the major drawback to having him in a unit. The upside is that he cannot be targetted as he could be solo. Most veteran gamers will make a point of teaching you to keep your spellcasters hidden within your units.
