Just out of interest, why do you have 3 apothecaries? By my reckoning you only have 2 squads that they can join?

Well, you could use the 60 points you save, find 15 points by (say) removing one grenade harness and getting rid of the hunter killer from your spartan (you don't need it) and getting a 4 man outriders squad with plasma-guns/meltaguns.

I would get rid of the armoured cermite. It's only useful against meltas. Either get auxiliary drive or a flare shield. It's more useful overall.

Praetor; is he taking a Paragon Blade or sticking with Power Weapon? If so, which? Power Sword benefits from the extra Initiative in a challenge, while the axe gets AP2 to help murder terminators. Or taking the Phoenix Power Spear for AP2 charge and still keeping Initiative? What Rite of War are you bringing?

If you take Pride of the Legion, you can go for 4x10 Veteran Squads and 2x5 Terminator Squads (or even just 1x10 still).

Picking up another Apothecary and a Primus with Boarding Shield, Phoenix Spear, Sonic Shrieker and Meltabombs nets you defensive grenades and another 4 S5 I5 AP2 charge attacks, and giving your 4 Vet Squads FNP.

Terminators could maybe do with some ranged support - either Volkites to shred infantry before a charge, or a couple of combi-melta's. You'll also want some chainfists to make those Dreadnoughts think twice, and the instagib is very nice. With Frag Assault Charges and a Grenade Harness, the necessity of a third set of charging grenades is questionable at best.

Pair of Kheres Contemptor-Mortis are good.

The Fellblade doesn't need SM crew - in a game where damage is done by HP damage, the Armourbane shot doesn't do much. If you're taking it for anti-superheavy, in 12 turns you'll just about manage to kill one tank. Use the 7" blast and find other ways of putting down some AT fire - which in Heresy lists bests come from Graviton weaponry as it provides haywire.

Either allying in some solar auxilia, and taking an enginseer squad with graviton servitors to give you 8 haywire grenade launchers and 3 haywire blasts in a dracosan can be excellent. Picking up a squad with a defence line gives you an excellent backfield squad.

But if taking SH, I have 3 options - Thunderhawk with its Turbolaser Destructor (comes in at a hefty 775pts though), Falchion (TL Strength-D and 4x TL'd Lascannons strip hull points for fun) or a Glaive (d3+1 haywire, no roll to hit, S8 AP2 damage, and 4x TL Lascannons also have fun with stripping hull points).

If playing against non-SH vehicles, but instead facing LR or Predator spam, the Falchion is the best thanks to the fact that the Glaive's multiple haywire only has an effect versus SH, and that S8 can't really do much (1/6 chance of causing 2x HP damage). Against Rhino's, it's not too bad, as if you line it right, you can get 2 or 3, and haywire+damage+lascannon sponson opens each. If looking to go higher points, I quite like the Thunderhawk Gunship for its ability to hover with AV13*/12/13 and flying Strength D and deliver assaulting dreadnoughts/terminators in a late game objective grab.

What do you want from your final points?

Mostly because you're lacking in AT - 4 Kheres, 3 Multimeltas, 8 TL Lascannons and an Anti-terminator 7" Blast/Armourbane S7 small blast is not really that much at 3K limits.

Have you considered a Book IV Allied Titan list (needs 2 minimum).

Hey vaz, I'm probably going for a final point cost of 3000, maximum of 3500. The titan list is not a bad idea but spending literally around £500 on two models is too steep for me until I have a full time job. Probs just give the preator a paragon blade and might dump the volkite for an archeotech.
