So I have had several people on the forum say they are tired of salamander lists with land raiders in them. So I have made a list with no land raider. I love my land raider but I wanted to give it a try without it and see what you guys think.

i rather like it, and it would actually be effective IMO.

i'd put Vulkan in the podding tact squad, and consider dropping the termies unless you can cleverly hide them as they trudge across the field. deep striking them is not a good option IMO.

preference wise, i'd drop the single LS for more Sternguard, and then give the Sternguard nothing but combi-flamers/meltas and PF for the Sgt.

a homing beacon could also be useful.

but this works.
