I do not expect any 3-story buildings to impede me, so how does this look? Not sure myself, but I am infatuated with a Biker army and I may have found a good way to finally put it together.

I know you're going for vanilla, but Korsarro is just too good to miss out on for a biker list. You lose the +2 S Bonus for Hit and Run and Furious Charge with a weapon causing Instant Death on a 6.

This is how I run my Command Squad:

Kor'sarro = 205
- Power Armour
- F+K Grenades
- Bolt Pistol
- Moonfang
- Iron Halo
- Moondrakkan

Command Squad = 435pts
- Apothecary, Power Armour, Chainsword, F+K Grenades, Bolt Pistol, Narthecium, Bike
- Veteran, Power Armour, F+K Grenades, Company Standard, Bike, Meltagun, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield
- Veteran, Power Armour, F+K Grenades, Bike, Meltagun, Lightning Claw, Storm Shield, Meltabombs
- Veteran, Power Armour, F+K Grenades, Bike, Meltagun, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield
- Veteran, Power Armour, F+K Grenades, Bike, Meltagun, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, Melta Bombs

Although it lacks the flexibility of the twin squads, a 3+/3++/4+ FNP is the best way to run it.

I know many say that with a 3+ and FNP, I can run Plasma, but that adds another bump to the cost of the unit - and really, I don't want to be in combat with vehicles - the THammers are to deal with stuff like MC's, while the Melta's are for popping on a whim - not to mention gibbing marines like no tomorrow. It's up to you with the squad basically. However, as mine is sort of a 2K build expanded to 2.5 and 3K, it's not optimized, either, as the less number of models and armour available at 2K means that Rapid Firing plasma is less useful.

I've run 2x CSquads, and found that the 1x Squad of Death does it's job fantastically, and far better, lasting longer - it takes more than 650pts of firepower to wipe it out, bar bad luck, and in that case, you'll have the rest of your army involved.

Next up is 2x Tactical Squads in Mech (I like Razors for the TL flamers, but Rhino's work). I know you want to run bikers, but fuck me, Objectives Points imho gives me the shits when I run Bikers otherwise.

So yeah, my troops looks like:
10 SM, Flamer, Combi Flamer, Missile Launcher, Razor, TL HF
10 SM, Flamer, Combi Flamer, Missile Launcher, Razor, TL HF
5 Bikers, Pfist, 2x Melta's
5 Bikers, Pfist, 2x Melta's
5 Bikers, Pfist, 2x Melta's

Fast Attack, these guys are alright - but I don't run the Flamers so much in the rest of my list, so I'm actually looking at swapping my unit (I only have 1) for an LS MM/HF build. More flexible, faster, skimmer, and only a little bit more expensive for more tactical flexibility.

So yeah, 300 for 6x MM AB's, or 280 for 4 LS MMHF's? IMHO, the latter is preferable due to the amount of Melta you (I) have elsewhere.

Now, every list has a finisher - and unfortunately, I think your list lacks one. My preference is the 3 Vindicators. ;) Cannot go far wrong at all - and like I always say, Do Not forget you have your Storm Bolter so it's not scrap metal if it loses it's weapon - it can still ram, and set up for a Drive by Flaming - or fuck, even pushing a unit towards your Hit and Run assault squad.

Sorry, sort of hijacked this - I'll post my list so you can compare, and if there's anything you like you can steal ;). In it's current set up, it's got 8 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses (of which 2 of those were down to poor outflank bitpart results).

I'd also like to note - unless you're playing a Damocles or Prometheus in your list, stay the hell away from anything that stops you getting your bikes all on at once. Outflank was nice, but with units like the Master of the Fleet, and opponents having the Autarch and Astropath, it's not such a bright idea for a water strike army.
