Just revisiting an old list, now that everyone seems a-OK with Shield on vehicles, no reason not to try it out. This is a firepower list, with little emphasis on combat. The Furioso Dreads sprout Wings and cause problems; counter-assaulting, etc. The Preds sit back and open up the cans, while the Baals put firepower into the squads thus exposed. The Razorbacks throw down tons of firepower and aren't the worst in assault, if you do it right. With 5+ saves on all that armor, it should be durable.

It's pretty potent but not quite full on cheese which is nice.

No changes to be made in my eyes.

You've got a good number of lascannons on your Preds already. So swap some las/plas on Razorbacks into TLACs.

I'd replace the tl Lascannon turrets with Autocannons. The points saved are enough to actually put something useful in that 3rd ELITES slot. Or even turn one of those Librarians into something a little scarier. Possibly giving things a bit more of a Blood Angels flavor by replacing one of the Razorback RAS with some DC. Maybe replace the Librarian with a Reclusiarch and use the other points from the turret swap for a nice sized Rhino DC? I'm a firm believer in ICs with a higher than basic I. Otherwise you'll get one round of CC while dying to the simultaneous directed attacks. Going first reduces the number of models that can go after you and that's an advantage not to be wasted.

I honestly don't see the point in 4 Librarians. What happens if you run into Space Wolves, Eldar or Tyranids? All those fancy little mutant powers won't mean squat if you never get to use them.

Change some razorbacks to assault cannons to make it even better for killing troops that come out of transports. I'd drop the sponsons of the flamestorm baal. If you're that close using them you're close to being hit in the 10 rear armour and that's bad, especially as it'd be hit on a 4+ as they count as main weapons.

you go up against any army with a decent psychic defense like eldar, wolves or marines and this list will have 600pts basically being used for very very little. Changing the dreads to 2 dreadnoughts - one with blood fists, one with talons, both with heavy flamers and pods could be much more effective. One's great against infantry, the other against tanks. drop one down and use the pod as cover and the next turn he can wreak havoc.

I think that the lascannon turrets are unnecessary as you already have 2 shots coming out of each pred as well as the razorbacks. if you face an all horde army you will suffer by not having enough anti infantry. the autocannons would help that.

I agree with assault cannons on the razorbacks, maybe drop one of the predators for a devastator squad? BA dev squads are cheap, and effective. Six troop choices seems excessive, You could get something else in that elite squad if you drop one or two. I've never needed more than four in a 2500 point game.

one thing is technically your furioso libbies are illegal. the Faq says furioso librarians cannot take additional wargear, heres the part in the faq
Q: Can a Furioso Librarian take additional equipment
(such as extra armour)?
A: No.

so you just got 50 pts to play with (if your going to listen to the faq) i would suggest upgrading the flamestorm cannon to an assault cannon and give it side bolters, then if you take out the tl las cannons on the baals you could get a third libby dread and you have 5 points left over

you would lose some anti-tank fire power but gain another flying av 13 target

But its a solid list i would love to see all those models on a table!
