Well i was bored so i picked up a woc book to read and i must say i wasnt that impressed till i got to Valkia! Despite people thinking she sucks, the chance to make such a cool looking lord is not something i can pass up! so i now have my 3rd fantasy army Picked out. Any comments on the list would be great so far i have valika (making her...) and the 2 hero's (I had them siting around)Everything else can be changed no problem.

i would say drop MoK on your knights and give them MoN and baaner of rage
also drop the giant you could get a hellcannon or bigger units of chaos warriors for it

I struggled really hard with the decision between Giant, Shaggoth and Hellcannon. Eventually I went with Shaggoth because 1. the model is kickass and 2. he's very reliable. The giant is fine for fun, but if you're trying to make a "competitive list" then he's probably best avoided. However ASF on a giant is hysterical - it'd deffo be my first choice for mark.

Instead of 2 units of 15 Khorne Warriors, you could instead get 1 unit of 30 with Banner of Rage and Mark of Nurgle for 25 less points (or just leave them as Khorne and save 65). Also remember that Frenzied models cannot get the Parry Ward save, so I'd give them an extra CCW or halberds, whichever you think would be more useful (probably Halberds, because only the first rank benefits from 2x CCWs, whereas all ranks benefit from Halberds).

If you make that saving on the warriors and cut the Warhounds, you can get 2 more knights or several more warriors, whichever you prefer.

I would go with the hellcannon over the giant any day of the week. Giants have never impressed me to be honest while the hellcannon is worth its weight in gold.

I've had alot of success with MoK and blasted standard on my Knight deathstar unit. Just a thought, nurgle can be taken out with augmenting spells, tzeentch can't, so even that is a better option with the banner of rage.

Hellcannon vs giant... i LOVE my giant; but fact of the matter is, the hellcannon is wayyyy underpriced for what it does.

I'd suggest taking 24x2 as opposed to 15x3 in the warriors. 15 isn't a lot nowadays, I worry it won't be effective against stepping up spearblocks, and the like. MoT is not a warrior mark. MoK gives you the best bang for the buck. The ward just isn't enough to make it worthwhile. I'd cash in the Knights for a bigger block of marauder cav. Five, again, even with the iron hard nature of Knights is too small.

The MoT i say is worth it because having a 3+ armour and a 5+ ward is better than most. Plus the MoK they can still lose cuz its too expensive to buy too many. Ive seen people try to use the horde rule on those guys. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO THAT. The horde rule is literally what it means. A horde of cheap guys.

I have had great success building all of my varient army lists around a block of 30 Warriors with Mark of Nurgle and Banner of Rage (5 points more and I never lose the Frenzy, AND I can have a "second" Mark? Alrighty then...) with Halberds and Shields, 10 across and 3 deep. They will take on more or less anything apart from units of 18 ogres and win. Horde Warriors does work, just don't go batshit crazy and have a unit of like 50.

And Khorne is only 10 points more than Tzeentch... you can't even get an extra Warrior for that...

I say try put your hero on a disc too. Blood curdling roar + Disk is very nasty, it might only be str 1, but now your killing anything on a 6, and out of an average of 7 hits you should get 2 5s at least, and it might not be a lot against a horde of goblins, but against a unit of 2+ armour Knights thats pretty damn good.

I also like chosen, had 12 with GW in my last game and they killed 2 whole units of bretonian knights, a unit of grail knights w/ a paladin and KotR so they are really awesome, but give them Halberds instead, that way they are striking first most of the time and you can also give the champion 25pts of items, and getting a book of secret arts just to add an awesome Death spell aint too bad at all. And with all that they should be the same price as your Knights.

And as for wolves, dont replace them, add more, wolves are always very handy.

And yeah, HC rather than giant, though ASF giant is really fun, if your opponent has at least 2 units of archers, your giant aint gonna see combat.

I've been using 50 warriors with a lvl 4 and bsb with MoK and halberds.

Words cannot describe now awesome this unit is combined with hell cannons. I prefer blasted standard and an ironcurse pennant and magic resistance 3 on the bsb. Hello 1600pt unit you cant kill, hence NO VPs. haha

Surely that falls over pretty quickly as soon as someone challenges with a Character-killing Lord/Hero choice? Being Chaos you MUST accept if possible, so either your Sorc or your BSB is dead on the first round of combat and both are dead on the second (provided there is one, of course).

That's why you use Call to Glory to summon new ones.

It's very risky, but in 4 games no one has been able to kill that unit.

Well i have remade the list let me know what you guys think! i dont want to run the hell cannon due to it being in my opinion not worth it. (plus i got a bad ass looking giant ill post eventually)
