I like to play low-key armies, and don't really care for special characters or most Lord-level characters. This cannot really be considered a power-gamer's army.

Warrior Priest - General w/ AOMI, Great Weapon (With Swordsmen)
Captain BSB - Dawn Armor, Sword of Might, Barded Warhorse
Celestial Wizard - Lvl2, 2 Dispel Scrolls (With Spearmen)

24 Swordsmen w/ Full Command (And Warrior Priest)
-=- 10 Free Company

25 Swordsmen w/ Full Command

24 Spearmen w/ Full Command (And Wizard)
-=- 10 Handgunners
-=- 10 Handgunners

25 Halberdiers w/ Full Command
-=- 10 Handgunners
-=- 10 Crossbowmen

15 Flagellants

10 Archers

2 Cannons

2 Mortars

1 Helblaster Volley Gun

2247pts, 226 Models, 5 War Machines, 61% Core.

How about I shorten the list a bit to 1500pts...

Warrior Priest - General w/ AOMI, Great Weapon (With Swordsmen)
Captain BSB - Dawn Armor, Sword of Might, Barded Warhorse
Celestial Wizard - Lvl2, 2 Dispel Scrolls

24 Swordsmen w/ Full Command (And Warrior Priest)
-=- 9 Free Company

25 Halberdiers w/ Standard, Musician
-=- 9 Free Company

24 Spearmen w/ Standard, Musician
-=- 10 Handgunners
-=- 10 Handgunners

15 Flagellants

1 Cannon

2 Mortars

Total of 1501, 156 Models, 4CD/4DD

The lone mounted model must look odd, but I'm attempting to counter such threats as gutter runners and other tunnelers that would risk the war machines. I need something fast, hard hitting, and durable. A rerollable 2+ save on a str5 model should probably do the trick. The flagellants are there to anchor one side of the line, while the Swordsmen with Warrior Priest and the Halberdiers advance with their detachments. The Spearmen and Handgunners would cover the rear and attempt to whittle away any heavy infantry or cavalry. The scroll caddy rounds out the list, and just may be able to get something off. Probably not.

By removing the Captain BSB, I'd be able to include a unit of 10 Archers or Crossbowmen, 3 more Flagellants, and champions to all of the ranked units. Is it worth it?

looks good lots of blocks of infantry support well. Only thing its really missing is a few knights for counter charge, taking the fight to the enemy etc but can probably do well enough with out them.
