Here's my 2000-point roster for my Sons of Horus. I use the Alpha Legion rules since I don't use cult troops or daemons, but I make heavy use of Infiltrate (more to represent the fact that the Sons prefer to be up close and personal rather than sneaking about, and it just lets me start a touch closer to represent that.) I'm not particularly interested in changing the core 2000 points, since I've gone 3-0 in the last four RTTs I've played in with it, but I'm curious as to what you all think I should add for the extra 500 points.

The new dex is the current dex.... but prehaps nt for your tourney i'm guessing?

A second hq to tag team with your current one would be the obvious choice to start with, as there just so powerful many lists need to be equipped to specifically deal with that threat. is the reaver squad a raptor squad? Overall the list doesn't have much in the way of manauvreabilty, so more raptors or bikes could help the list out, allowing you to react to threats. for the points you could prob include either a squad of each, or 2 raptor squads. other than that possessed can be pretty good, i like them equipped with daemonic talons, but there are other options that work well too. Also a squad of oblits is another thing to think about, especially if you can find the points to give your hq(s) teleport homer they work exceptionally well deepstriking in to support.

Yes, Reavers are Raptors. And Raptors are 0-1. I might look into possessed, since I haven't fielded them for a while, and maybe a sorcerer to tag along with them. I've found that the list doesn't need to be terribly maneuverable because they're able to deploy where I need them-- the assault units are in combat on turn 2 or 3 at the very latest, which is no different than if they were mounted up, oddly enough.

*edit* The new 'dex isn't out yet stateside outside of the army box... all tournaments up until the end of September for the most part are using the "4th" edition (as opposed to the new one, which GW has referred to as the 5th edition Codex in White Dwarf) book.
