Sup guys,

So there it is, please comment with helpful criticism and advice because I'm guessing that I have made some mistake. Anyway, I really like the game plan of just sitting back and shooting; I love playing defence and would really like any recommendations of a specific game plan.

Thankyou

Only thing I'm not sold on is the beast hunter shells. Yeah you gain an instant death blast but at the cost of your armourbane. Overall it feels like a tough choice and I don't know which one I would recommend.

Troops:
- Battle Tank Squadron
-- Eradicator
-- Heavy Bolter

- Siege Tank Squadron
-- Executioner
-- Lascannon
If the points can be found, I would suggest heavy bolter sponsons on the eradicator (because triple heavy bolter can go well with the cannon) and plasma cannon sponsons for the executioner (because why three plasma cannon blasts when you can have five.)

But thats 60 points you'd need to take from elsewhere, losing the beast hunter shells might be part of an option.

Heavy Support:
- Hydra Flak Tank Battery
-- Hydra Flak Tank
-- Heavy Bolter
I would look for the points to get at least one more of these.

Lord Of War:
- Shadowsword
-- Pair of Lascannon Turrets
-- Targeters
-- 4x Twin-Linked Heavy Bolter
At more than a quarter of your total points I don't know how I feel about this. It is a beast, don't get me wrong, but you lose so many points for elsewhere that I think it'll ultimately hurt you more than help.

If your intent on keeping this then there is very little else I can say, because this is pretty much the only thing you could lose to make changes elsewhere.

Space Wolves Company of the Great Wolf Detachment:
HQ:
- Harald Deathwolf, Lord of the Wolfkin
-- 1 Fenrisian Wolf
A good choice

Elites:
- Iron Priest
-- Thunderwolf
-- Bolt Pistol

Iron Priest
-- Thunderwolf
-- Bolt Pistol
I'm guessing this is how your getting around the elite units tax? At a combined 210 points Why not either go with an allied detachment and take a cheap drop podding grey hunter pack or just hide the priests, not on thunderwolves, with the tanks?

Fast Attack:
- Thunderwolf Cavalry
-- Thunderwolf Cavalry
-- Chainsword
-- Bolt Pistol
-- Thunderwolf Cavalry
-- Chainsword
-- Bolt Pistol
-- Thunderwolf Cavalry Pack Leader
-- Chainsword
-- Bolt Pistol
I would use the points from the priests to beef this unit up a member or two and give the unit some storm shields and either a thunder hammer or frost weapon.

Heavy Support:
- Relic Sicaran Battle Tank (FW)
-- Relic of the Armoury
-- Armoured Ceramite
-- Legacies of Glory, Tank (FW)
--- Schism of Mars
Like the sicarian and it definitely helps in mitigating the need for two hydras. Forget what schism of mars does, but either way it can't be to bad.

Overall I would seriously consider dropping the shadowsword in favour of a knight crusader with stormspear rocket pod. This maintains much of your anti everything on the ground (the thermal cannon large blast, dozen medium strength shots from the avenger, and trio of high strength stormspear shots) and a decent anti air defence. (15 S +6 shots even with snapfiring is nothing to sniff at.)
