Sorry about that I Dont know why It just came that way I Pasted it tho so that may be it I will try to fix it.

I Was hoping with the snipers to put them to use on big creatures I have a lot of men with lasguns But they wont hurt a tyranifex (spell it right?) or Ghazghkull Thruka. Be like flinging peas at a land raider. So I thought If I put in snipers they Hit and wound on 4+ automaticly they are rending to so I could order Bring it down for re-rolls to hit to.
Basicly I was hoping they could deal with the bigger stronger models.

Im open to suggestions though.

i had not thought about it but sniper rifles are good for big things. my advice is to see if you can fit some autocannon heavy weapon squads in as they can kill big things and still kill large numbers of small griblys as well.

For a true anti-horde army 9 lascannons seems like a huge waste of points. You really want your HWS to be able to rack up kills against your opps troops. If you are playing against Tyranids I would go with Heavy Bolters or Autocannons.

It also looks like there is one squad in each platoon that does not have a special weapon in it. Was that intentional? If you just ran out of points for them I would drop both those units and take a Valk for the added mobility.

In any case it looks like a fun army to run!

Against Nids and Orks you want Flamers, High S blasts, ML's, Plasma and high ROF weapons (AC/HB), GL's even.

Not taking SW's in the PCS's is missing a trick..4 slots gone begging. 3/4 Flamers works great in a Chimera..they can react quickly to any enemy units advancing on your line.

Mixing SW's within a single Squad doesn't work as effectively as taking all the same ones, so I would take GL's only in the Inf/Squads...Plasma should be on BS4 minis.

I see all-Lascannon HWS's and think Vendetta..far more effective and more bang-for-your-buck. But like I said earlier these would be better as AC or HB..at least take some.

Sorry, but I think Sniper Rifles should only be on Ratlings - they're cheap so you can take more of them, and they are BS4 and get decebt Special Rules that help them get into a favourable position.
The rifle isn't that good really on a BS3 model..4's to hit and to wound.

Punishers look good on paper, but even against weak enemy they will disappoint you most games. Against Hoards it will get maybe 2 turns of shooting before they swamp it and destroy it in c/c, and it will likely have only killed 15. You'd be far better off with a LRBT..the blast will kill more for longer.

My 2c anyway, best of luck with it:victory:

Sry it took so long to reply, after about a week I didnt have much feedback and stopped checking... My Bad
The Lacannons were meant for killing Warriors and things of the like but I c your point mabye if I exchanged them for something like another Executioner, would that work well?
About the Ratlings I havent personally tried them out myself but Im Half/half on wether I want Ratlings or Normal Snipers, Ratlings hit better yes ,but Would giving the Snipers the Bring it down Order and targeting bigger units like Mawlocs for re-rolls work as good?
The Special weapon in Each unit was intentional yes I heard good things about them Vs anti horde and thought to put em in somewere. Prehaps putting them in Spec wep squads, or just get rid of them all together?

The Punisher I will try out of it doesnt work then Yea I will most likely replace it.
Thx for feedback!

OK, but you really are missing out on the BS4 special weapons this squad can take. As you're not mechanising them you may as well give them a heavy weapon, like lascannon.
Guardsman Marbo (65p)

Awesome.

Infantry Platoon (765p)
-Platoon Command Squad
Vox-Caster
No special weapons? Definately try to fit at least two or three flamers here.
-Infantry Squad x5
Vox-Caster, two with grenade launchers, two with plasma guns
Plasma would be better on your BS4 CCS... try melta? Also you've got a squad with no special weapon?
-Heavy Weapons squad x3
All with lascannons
Good
- Special weapons squad x2
six sniper rifles
Snipers are a bit meh at BS3... try Ratlings as HOBO suggested.

Infantry Platoon (400p)
-Platoon Command Squad Vox-caster
-Infantry Squad x 5
Vox-Caster, two with grenade launchers, two with plasma guns
-Special weapons squad
three sniper rifles
See above platoon comments

Leman Russ Punisher (210p)
pintle mounted heavy bolter, sponson heavy bolters
Yuck... swap for something else.. please? It might look good on paper, but it's not.

Leman Russ Executioner (230p)
sponson plasma cannons
Groovy

Manticore Rocket launcher (170p)
heavy flamer, pintle mounted heavy bolter
Pintle heavy bolter? Heavy stubber? remove it anyway to save points as I highly doubt you'll ever fire it. Especially if you've got Rockets still waiting to fire.

This Army is made for Anti horde any advice welcome
See above comments in red.

It's a good start but needs some work - get rid of the Punisher for a start; I really don't think that's going to do you any good whatsoever, for the reasons snr HOBO pointed out.

Use the points saved there to beef up the special weapons loadouts on your squads.

The Two Squads without Heavy Weapons are mostly for sheilding the Manticore from Deep strikers I can get ride of the Upgrades on it but I would like to try fielding first.
I will however update the list without it to see if I can get better results. And try it without it to.
everybody seems to hate the Punisher so I will remove it in favour of a pie tank how about arty?
