I was intending to max out on flamers for the infantry relying on the raiders for AT. Haven't decided on marks yet but leaning towards khorne as the paint scheme will be red and black. Comes out around 2000.

Why did you pick the chaos marines for the troops? Chaos has so many awesome troop options like Plague Marines, Berserkers, or Noise Marines.

Wow that is a small number of models for 2000pts. You are going to find this difficult to win with I think, especially vs hordes.

That's going to be a field day for Tau. Those land raiders make juicy targets for the railguns.

I accept all of the above.

I never play tournaments but i have seen one land raider soak up a lot of punishment never mind three. And possesion should help.

I have specifically not picked exotic troop types to keep down points and possibly to keep the army undivided. I will look at them all though.

As for the small size i had intended to refuse a flank where possible using the mobility.
