So my orky little mind got to thinking about cramming in a bunch of walkers to a list for fun and seeing what happens. Well I think I may have found a fun way to get a bunch in.

2XBig Meks Eavy armor & rokkit launcher

2X Painboyz

2X Gorkanauts w/ grot riggers

2x Morkanauts w/ grot riggers

6X Deffdreads 2 power klaws and 2 rokkits each.

6X killa kans all with rokkits

total: 1998 points

The way I see the list working is the four big guys go down the middle while the dreds head up the sides and the kans come in behind to pile in or fill in a gap should a dread go down.

Thoughts Ideas comments?

Seems like a decent list there, is that the formation out of the ghazghull book? Probably would be a good counter to a "knight Lance" or anything similar.

Only real thoughts are can a kff be squeezed in particularly on the gorkanaught with that huge base. Also how do you plan on dealing with hordes? Thinking grotzookas might serve you better than rokkits for that case. In the same point rokkits on dreads? Maybe skorchas might be more effective, if you leave the tankbusting to the kans.

Apart from that this style of list is always fun if slow but if you catch them fun times abound.

Not really familiar with filthy xeno lists but that looks nasty if you went up against it with a list not geared towards anti armour

YEs it is from the ghazghull book. I am going to see if I can do a forgeworld dual dread mob as well.
The Morkanuats are there to provide KFF protection for the gorks as well as themselves. Hordes aren't really a big concern in my area I am the only one to run a green tide everyone else runs more regular style armies or go for hard hitting armies. If I do run into a horde I would use the gorkanuats to dakka them while using the killa kans as speed bumps to block them. Grotzookas were considered but I run into more hard units then troops. Now against a deamon summoning army grotzookas will work better. I use to run this army with the kans leading the way but then when they got blown up they were usually in the way of the dreads, now with the big boyz leading the charge it should be harder for most armies to deal with.
