So, after a hiatus from 40k for all of 6th Edition, I am coming back to it. I had wanted to build Carcharodons for years and now I am looking to build a semi-competitive list that showcases the stuff I like while representing the Sharks properly.

The strategies:
Tyberos + LC Termies ride up and wreck house in the LRR; all of it is Obj. Secured
Two Tac Squads Pod in and split if needed, giving me 2-4 more Obj. Secured units
Captain Tanks for the Bike Squad, which can split as needed too, for another 1-2 Obj. Secured units; Sarge and AB go together and the Gravs go together when it splits, Captain wherever is needed
TFC shoot stuff
Stormtalons clear the skies
Assault Squad drops in on small-sized camping Obj. Secured Squads and suicide-nukes them, if able, or else just looks to take unguarded objectives elsewhere.

Biggest issue I see is a complete lack of Psyker defenses. Can't really shoehorn in a Libby and Allies with the Sharks are no-go (Desperate Allies always). I think the durable Tyberos unit and fast/semi-durable Biker unit should be sufficient to go and take things from the opponent while the other squads sit back and hold on.

Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

why add missile lunchers and CCW in the same unit? the lunchers want to stay put, the CCW want to move up the board in order to, hold on let me put my Angry Marine voice on "RIP ALL THE FACES!!!!.

OldHat! Its so good to see you on the forums! I am also getting back into 40k. I only played a little 6th ed, I am modeling more salamanders as I type this. I made some very similar space marine lists to the one you just posted. When I read this list it made me more confident because I always think that the lists you post are boss, and mine were close to this one, so I must have done something right :)

List looks great!
